Tom Jarvis is a two-time Emmy-nominated editor with a decade of high profile, award-winning television programs under his belt.

 

Hailing from Kent, UK, Tom began his career as post production runner in Soho, London, where he became one of the youngest staff editors at The Farm, one of the most distinguished post-production houses in the UK. After gaining acclaim in the UK, Tom relocated to Los Angeles, upon referral by Simon Cowell, where he worked acclaimed competition series like “America's Got Talent" and “Dancing With the Stars.” 

 

Tom is known for his signature quick-cuts, sharp sonic attunement, and emotive storytelling abilities, having contributing to numerous awards shows, such as The Grammys, the MTV Movie Awards and iHeart Radio Music Awards, documentaries, scripted and unscripted television shows, as well as primetime specials like The Victoria’s Secret Swim Special.

 

In 2016, Tom joined The Late Late Show With James Corden, where he became best known for his signature edits for the show's legendary Carpool Karaokes, in addition to cutting sketches, music and interviews for the show. A music lover with a uncanny gift for emotive storytelling through audio and visuals, he enjoyed the challenge of distilling two+ hours of footage into one intimate and indelible (and often viral and record breaking) 15 minute cut - adept at showcasing the humanity, personality, and quintessential essence of the biggest stars of our time, from Harry Styles, Adele, to Bruno Mars, Elton John to Michelle Obama. Over his time with The Late Late Show, he has edited more than 1000 episodes and has been nominated for two Emmys.

 

In his work, Tom is inspired endlessly to explore and bring to life human stories, through visual, audio, and narrative arches, collaboration and creativity. Between meeting Paul McCartney, getting notes from Madonna, and editing Celine Dion’s re-creation of "My Heart Will Go On" while on a boat in the Bellagio fountains in Vegas –  he has found there is never a dull day as an editor.

 

When not working, he enjoys spending his time on the West Side of Los Angeles by the beach, with his wife, two children, and pug named Steve.
